Facebook and musical treats
Just a short blog post about some news.
First up, I’ve finally experimented with Facebook and produced a fanpage that allowed me to pull the images in from an external source. It was Facebook’s compression of images that put me off building one sooner but all of that is now a thing of the past! www.facebook.com/crossprocess
Secondly, this weekend is a bit of a treat for the ears.
The Lost Gonzos will be playing the Two Pigs in Cheltenham from 7.30pm tonight and starting this afternoon, and taking off in a big way on Saturday, it’s the Barn on The Farm Festival 2010 at Over Farm, near Gloucester. (Last minute tickets are still available!)

Eminem – Recovery
Not my work, but I like it a lot. Was looking at my Last.fm profile and one of the recommendations was Eminem’s new album, Recovery. There are two different album covers for this album, both apparently shot by a Photographer named Nigel Parry, born in London and now based in New York. There’s some amazing album sleeves kicking about these days with some top graphics & digital art being used, but the simplicity and appropriateness of this cover, and the typography, is spot on for me.
